Service

Boltnodes provides free, ad-supported Minecraft Java Edition server hosting. Access to the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.

Accounts & Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Report unauthorized use to us promptly at support@boltnodes.net.

Acceptable Use

  • No illegal activity, harassment, or infringing content.
  • No abuse of infrastructure, including DDoS, spam, or attempts to bypass fair-use limits.
  • No hosting of malicious software or content that violates Mojang/Microsoft policies.

Fair Use & Availability

Servers may pause when idle and are subject to resource limits to keep the service free for everyone. We do not guarantee uptime, performance, or data retention.

Backups

You are responsible for keeping your own backups. While we may maintain internal backups, we do not guarantee recovery.

Advertising

The service is funded by advertising. Ads may be shown in the control panel or when starting servers. By using the service you agree to this ad-supported model.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to use Boltnodes.

User content

You are responsible for any content you upload or host on your server. Do not host infringing, hateful, or illegal content. Respect Mojang/Microsoft EULA and community standards.

Resource limits

Free servers have fair-use limits (compute, memory, storage, and player slots). We may adjust limits or pause servers that materially impact platform stability.

Data and privacy

Use of the service is subject to our Privacy Policy. Ads are delivered by third parties; you can manage consent where required.

Refund Policy

Boltnodes currently offers free hosting. Because no payments are collected, refunds do not apply. If paid plans become available in the future, their terms and refund conditions will be published before purchase.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts or servers that violate these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the service at any time.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
